Inaugural Macroeconometric Caribbean Conference
February 9-10, 2023
The Central Bank of The Bahamas and the Center for Applied Economics and Policy Research (CAEPR) at Indiana University invite submissions to the inaugural Macroeconometric Caribbean Conference. The conference will be held at the beautiful Atlantis Resort (Atlantis Bahamas) February 9 and 10. We welcome submissions of empirical and theoretical papers in all areas of applied macroeconomic policy in small states. According to the World Bank Group’s definition small states, are considered to have populations in the range of 1.5 million or less. While this is not a rigid cut-off for the conference it should be used as a guide to spotlight policy issues that are characteristic of such economies.
Chosen presenters from academic and research institutions will be offered two nights hotel accommodation plus limited funds for travel reimbursements.
The deadline for the submission of an extended abstract or completed paper by October 17, 2022. Please email your paper to
and state whether you require travel funding. Decisions will be announced by the end of October.
